Anyone have these? I am thinking about getting them. This is the size they give for our cars. It seems pretty far off from the 18x10.5 z06 sizing most of you guys give so I was wondering whats up with their sizing
Back

This wheel will just be under the fender. It is pushed toward the outside, since the typical offset for 9.5 to 11" wide wheels is in the range of 50-55mm. If you look at a stock WS6/SS 17x9 wheel, this wheel will sit about 1" further toward the outside of the car. In other words, they added the 1" of extra width to the outside of the wheel, and nothing to the inside.

This wheel will probably sit outside the fender in the front. Again, with a 9" wide wheel like the WS6/SS wheels, they use a 55mm offset. That puts the outside edge of the wheel ("frontspace") about 2.8" out from the face of the hub mounting flange. The wheel you are looking at will stick out 1.2" further than the WS6/SS wheels. That's a 4.0" "frontspace". Seems like the offset is too small.
All of this is based on a spreadsheet I use to compare wheels of known dimensions to the ones ppeople ask about. It requires an assumption regarding the width of the lip that retains the tire, but in this case you have enough information (offset AND backspace) to allow an accurate calculation.

Thanks, so it will probably sit very flush with the top of the outside fender? I dont want that goofy-hanging outside look i see sometimes with 17x11's out back.

Rear Wheels:
I have the ZR1/Grand Sport offset 17x11's. That means I have a 4" front space. That places the outside edge of a 315/35 BFG Drag Radial exactly under the outer edge of the fender, when viewed looking directly down from above. The wheel you are looking at will be approx 1/10" further toward the inside of the fender. If you can live with this:

you can live with the wheels you are looking at. Just remember the wheels you are looking at are 1" narrower than the ones on my car, and all that width is removed from the inside edge of the wheel/tire, giving the installed wheel/tire a sort of "outrigger" look.
Front Wheels:
I think the wheels you are looking at will stick out too far, but that is subjective. Those wheels will stick out approx. 3/4" more than the front wheels in these pictures:

You have to decide for yourself if you will like it like that.

Re: More rim questions AR Rebel
What are the offsets on your wheels for the back. I decided that I am going to do all the same size if i buy those. The 18x10 size. I am also looking at the privat prolif's. Those are 18x9.5 with a backspace of 49 I believe. With the same size tire (285) what would the difference be on how much they stick out? 8mm? or 1/3 inch roughly?? Thanks for all you knowledge injuneer. With your opinion do you think it would give it the outrigger "spacer" look with the chrome rebels? I really HATE that look, like you see on some of those lowriderish trucks.
