Looking at some 18" c6 wheels and toyo tires
Alright so i made a post a while back with some quotes i got from belle tire and discount tire. I went to belle tire again and got another estimate and it seems like the best deal i have came across yet.
18" C6 Crome wheels,
with toyo tires. only problem is the guy was saying it is difficult with my car to come up with a offset. He is willing to try to go with a 245/45 for the front which he was saying is about 1 centimeter more than the offset i would need. He also mentioned he could put a spacer in. I dont know a whole lot really since its my first time shopping for wheels, but every place ive been to they either tell me they would'nt be able to put these wheels on or that they could try the bigger offset in the front. Do you think it would be alright to do? What exactly is the spacer. Also are toyo tired good?
The price he said would be $1,600.
The last quote i got was for the same wheels but onlt they were 17" instead of 18" with riken raptors tires and he said $1,650.

Dude...you should look somewhere else. You could get the OEM 18x8.5 & 19x10 on ebay from anywhere to $500 for silver and $800-900 for chrome. You'd have to buy 2x 1.25 spacers, and follow the sticky above (Wheels & Tires FAQ's at the top of the forum index) for what to do, but you'd save a boatload of money if you found the oem silver c6's. There's deals to be had if you look.

here's some chrome oem C6's...tire's shouldn't run you more than $600. So that would be about the same as you were quoted, but you'd have to get the spacers.
I think it would be a lot more unique to have the real C6's, instead of just the IMO cheap replica's.
