I have them...

I have no expereince on very expensive tires but I think bang for the buck, they are great. I got mine in jan for $107 a pop off tirerack. They are great in the rain, but when they are cold, they are hard as hell. But thats rarely a problem for me here in FL.

I have them on my 93, I ahvent driven on them very much, got them in June, so maybe 250 miles at most, they hooked decent at the track, 1.86. Havent driven in rain or any thing, but most people say they are ok street tires.

they are aliright in wet weather. you will get decent milage if your alignment is ok but as far as performance they suuuuck. in dry weather they chirp taking corners pretty easily.

What tires would you reccomend keep in mind a budget so no $300 a peice tires also drag radials dont handle well when there is an occasional snow.

I run 712s on my 81. It's a very good tire for the $$, good rain tire, but hard in cold weather. Go through tirerack though, it's cheaper than Summit.

712s are a decent summer tire. I ran on them for 3 year, even autocrossed on them a few times. Good if you just want to drive or cruse on them.
