Anyone have any experience with these tires? They're going for $60ea (245/50/16) at Tirerack making them very tempting. Specs look decent, 320 treadwear (kinnda high), AA traction, A temp, H rated (up to 130mph). I also like the looks of the tread pattern better than the 712's.

From what little I've been able to learn about them they are an older design than the 712's and they were fairly popular overseas.

I've found a few reviews here and it seems that you either love them or hate them. However they were mostly from FWD cars so I'd like to get some more opinions especally from the V8 RWD folks.

Figured I'd try them as so many use Kumho's to race on. Very happy with them. Excellent traction and a bargain price. Had them on the track at 125 and all was smooth. Almost spent two hundred more on other tires but these HR rated are fine for the street.
