Just bought some ZR1 17x11" rears. Now, what offset for front (17x9.5")?
I just installed the rears (chrome Detroit ZR1) and I'm getting ready to order the fronts but should I be getting the 38mm or ??
Thanks,

I think it's 56mm offset for our cars... I have 17x11's in the rear and 17x9.5 in the front and that's what the specs from OE Wheels are for the 17x9.5's

Good morning Injuneer,
I had read your references there, noticing you'd tried two different offsets(49 and 56). What prompted you to change from one to the other? And which of those did you end up liking better? And finally, why did you like one better than the other? I just want to take the benefit of your research. Thanks!

Got paid today so I ordered the front 17"x9.5" ZR1 fronts (56mm offsets) and 275/40/17 Kumho 7363 - Kumho Ecsta ASX tires. While I'm waiting for those, I just finished installing my new MOOG ball joints and Energy Suspension bushings in the A-Arms.
I'd stripped a spare set of A-arms down to bare metal, painted them with POR-15 and then put in the ball joints/bushings. They look great! I debated on whether to install the refreshed A-arms in with the stock K-member but thought I might as well install the BMR Tubular K-Member I bought back last year while it's all disassembled. The weather here sucks and has been raining flooding for the past several days. I go out and do a little bit here and there till I'm too soaked, then come back in the house for awhile. Wish I still had my garage....

I bought a set of OZ Racing Monte Carlo's, and they only came with a 49mm offset, take it or leave it. Worked fine. When I decided to opt for the ZR1 replicas, the only choices were 37.5mm (sticks out too far) and 56mm. So I chose the 56mm wheels.
The OZ's with the 49mm offset seemed to look better, positioned that extra 1/4" outward, but it wasn't really that noticeable.

Wheels and tires arrived. I just dropped them off at a shop to get them mounted and balanced. I got the BMR K member in after a little frustration over it hitting my crossover of the turbo's hotside. The A-Arms arm being a little stubborn right now with the new bushings but I'll get them in.

Ugh... ordered two 17"x 9.5". Got two boxes. Took them to the tire installer shop. Drove home. About 2 hours later they got finished with their prior work and opened the boxes. One is indeed a 9.5" wide rim, the other? A 11" wide rim. Called Jegs and they said, "Oh, just send it back, shipping prepaid, and we'll send you the correct wheel. Thanks!"
.... I guess I'm glad they're going to ship me the correct one (I hope this time) but that's a week I'll have to wait and I'll be out the shipping (I don't see anything on the literature about them covering/reimbursing that). The included invoice from JEGS clearly shows I ordered two 17" x 9.5". I'm going to pick up the wheel now and see if the box shows the correct part number or a different one. THe invoice shows part# 306-841-7961C for those wheels.

Picked up the wheel. While the exterior, Detroit label clearly has the part number for the 17" x 11", the JEGS inventory sticker with it's bar code indicates it is a 17" x 9.5". Fail....
Off to the UPS Store....
