I think I've decided on my new wheel/tire setup...

Well, I think I've decided I'm gonna' go with these tires: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....rtnum=74YR7EMX and then these wheels: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/17-9-...7060QQtcZphoto

A couple questions...Are OE Wheels good quality stuff? Anyone know how much they weigh? Anyone have any opinions on the MX's?...The guys at Tirerack told me they are a great tire. The only thing that kills me is that I could get a set of KDW's mounted and balanced for $440 for my stock rims...Total cost if I get the new wheels will be about $1120 when it's all said and done...So if anyone has any opinions or suggestions in regards to my situation I'd like to hear them

Well, the tires are ordered...Probably gonna' order the wheels monday.

It says right in the link you posted that they are 56mm offset.

Oh, oops...I meant to ask how much they weighed, not what offset they were.....Also, are they a good quality rim?...The price makes me worry a little bit.

Re: I think I've decided on my new wheel/tire setup...

I just received my Z06 wheels from OE the other day and was very impressed with them. A few VERY MINOR defects were found, but nothing that would make me want to send them back or anything, plus, I think one of them is from UPS ( a tiny, tiny chip on the bead lip). Ill take some pics tommorow and post them up for you.

Thanks alot eagle...I'll be waiting for those pics and I'll probably be ordering the wheels monday. BTW, how long did shipping take? I've also read something about the hubs being different between the early and late 4th gens, so will these wheels fit my '97 or are they for the earlier hub design?

Those are just two quick pics, ill get some more, better ones up this week. They said they would be at my house within 14 days, 10 business days. And it was only 5 business days when they got to my house. So it was faster than i expected.
