Are G-Force KD's really unsafe in the rain?

I really want these tires and ive heard mixed opinions about their wet traction abilities. I dont drive my car in the rain much, but dont want to not be able to either. Need some opinions...thanks!

I always like to check the user survey feedback at Tire Rack. If you punch up 275/40-17 you get at least 20 different tires. If you get the comparative survey, the KD is rated 6.6 out of 10 on wet traction. That is tied for 18th place out of the 20 tires. The Pirelli P Zero Direzionale also gets a 6.6, and the Goodyear F1 Suprecar gets a 5.9. No other tires get less than 7.0 for "wet traction".

For "hydroplane resistance", the KD scores 6.3 out of 10, and ends up in 19th place, with only the GY F1 Supercar below it at 4.6.

Based on that feedback, it would appear that the KD is not the tire to get if you want wet traction. You would do a lot better, while giving up virtually nothing on "dry traction" with the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2, and way better on wet handling, while only slightly lower on dry traction (9.3 vs. 9.5) with the Goodyear F1 GS-D3.
