fitting 96 vetter rims

ran into glitch while trying out my new rims
Bolt pattern is normal
Seem the center hub won't fit, which in turn isn't allowing the stds to protrude out far enough. Did I miss something? Info regarding proper lug nuts for rims (they weren't supplied in purchase)
PS not a big fan of the style i bought so I am selling them. Figrued I'd invest the $$ in the exact rim I want.

Go to the FAQ "stickied" at the top of the Wheels and Tires forum topic listing. Scroll down to the post "Why won't my new wheels fit over the rear hubs on my 4th Gen?"..... common problem.
