Factory Lug Nut Locks (93-02)

I have aftermarket locking lugs for my 17x9.5/11 set of aftermarket chrome ZR1s.

I also have a set of 97 SS (ZR1 style) wheels which I run when I want to look stock / don't want to run drag radials, etc. I bought a set of SLP lug nut covers in the correct color for my car as I want it to look bone stock appearing. It looks like the GM lug nuts part# is 10028615, which has an external threading on it which the plastic covers screw on to.

Any idea if GM has a lock set that I can buy? It doesn't have to be GM but I want the plastic covers to go on it.

Re: Factory Lug Nut Locks (93-02)

So I called the local dealership by me and they claim they don't have a locking lug nut for my car. Anyone running locking lugs on a ZR1 style SS wheel with the factory caps?

edit: Called another dealership and locking lug nuts were made but it doesn't look like you can buy them anymore, so I'm looking used for a set. PM me if you have a set.

Yup. That has worked on my 96 Z28, 2000 V6 and 94 Corvette and they all fit the plastic covers regardless if its a one piece with five caps or individual caps for each lug.

Re: Factory Lug Nut Locks (93-02)

I know I am reviving this thread from a while ago but does anyone know if Amcor is still in business? Have a '97 SS that I don't have the wheel lock key for. I have the card to mail into them and pay to get a replacement key but their site seems to be down.

Card says to mail to:
Amcor Wheel Locks
12955 Inkster Rd.
Livonia, MI 48150

www.amcorlocks.com only displays blank pages.

Anybody have any info?

Thanks
