Im looking at new tires for when I get my 17s. Looking for straight line traction and cornering. If someone has had both brands, give your cons and pros.
I have Michelin pilot sport right now on my oem 16" and looking for something new this time.

So which one has the best straight line traction? Wet traction? Cornering? Thread life?

I have the GSD3's on my 02 Z28 and they are a great summer tire. In the winter they have poor straight line traction but it is difficult for any radial to hold 400+rwhp.

 

Yea it sure is Have you tried any other tire and how is the straight line traction compared to the GSD3's?

 

either tire will do great. I think the KDW's are a little cheaper but thats about it. Have you looked on tire rack's rating scale? They test every tire they sell and rank them.
