Drill rims to fit 5/8 studs ? Lug nuts ?
Hey Guys,
I'll pick up a used 9" rear end next week, and it comes with 5/8 studs. I'd really like to keep my rims (TSW Trophy 18"), and was wondering if I could make them fit the 5/8 studs.
I don't want to go to racing rims, but also don't want to replace the 5/8 with stock size studs if I can make the rims fit.
Shouldn't be a big deal to drill out the rims to make them fit on the 5/8 studs, right ? What about the lug nuts ? Are there 5/8 lug nuts that are not too much bigger in outer size than the stock lug nuts ?
