Re: Draglite help

The five lugnuts weld wheels come with dual bolt pattern 4.5" and 4.75, you'll use the 4.75" holes. I have 15x3.5 with 1.75" backspace, and 15x10 with 7.5" backspace. As for the tires, I have the moroso ds2 for the front and 11.5x15x26 et streets. I also used a 5/16" spacers to clear the front calipers, but still required very minimal grinding of the LS1 calipers. You have to use longer studs, I think the number for the 12mm 1.5 pitch is ARP 7708.

Re: Draglite help

Thanks for the help. I have heard that 15x3.5's are killer on the street.
Is 2 1/4 BS right for a 15x4?

Weld indicates both the 15x3.5" and 15x4" wheels are for "drag use only". I would recommend a 15x5" or 15x6" wheel for street driving. The 15x3.5" with 1.75" BS and the 5/16" spacer sits a bit too close to the outside of the fender, at least on my Formula. I'm looking for a way to get rid of the spacer. The 15x4 with a 2.25" BS would put the outside edge of the wheel/tire in the same position as the 15x3.5 1.75" BS. The extra 1/2" is added to the rear of the wheel.

Re: Draglite help

Thanks. What would be the backspacing on the 15x5's? I want 15x10's on the back so I figured might as well have the front half the width of the back.

Re: Draglite help

For a 15x5 you would want to add the additional width at the back of the wheel. That would be a 3.5" backspace.
