drag wheels

What wheels should i get (4 or 2) for drag racing. I want the lightest wheel that will bolt up to my stock 93 Z28. I dont care how much they cost, i was something superlightweight. And that i can throw some mickeytompson et streets onto. Thanks!

Re: drag wheels

The lightest wheel would be the Bogart P2 Billets. They are a bit lighter than the Bogart P1's. I know they have a P1 model specifically made for the 4th Gen F-Body, with the correct offset (I believe the rear wheel is 15x9.75"), and they will clear the LT1 brake calipers with no problems. The best source for these is:

There is also a wheel made by Monocoque that is extremely light, but I'm not sure if they have the correct offset.

Both the above wheels are "track use only". They are not recommended for street driving.
