I bought ET drags fully understanding I could not drive to an from on them, now though with maybe 15 passes on them I am looking to get some DOT approved tires like the QTP because I want to try bracket racing and the class I would belong in requires such. So look to the future when you buy, wish I had. I would suggest using DOT tires and suspension work, the suspension work you would be able to enjoy all the time even without bolting on tires. If you go with true slicks you will be too dependant on them and may not do what you could to enjoy more traction on the street as well.

M/T Radials....These things hook everywhere! And seem to be lasting longer on the street than my BFG DRs ever did...Its the only tire I keep on the car...

PLEASE do not post tire surveys on the "LT1/LT4 Engine Tech" forum. Not where it belongs. Use "Wheels and Tires", posibbly "Drag Racing.....", or for wider exposure it might be considered acceptable on "General F-Body Tech & Info".
