What drag radials do you guys recommend for stock wheels? Budget is a little tight.

From what I understand from reading and doing research on here Mickey Thompsons are the stickiest radial you can get. Whatever you do don't waste your money on nittos...

I don't know why people say don't wast your money on Nittos. Nitto 555R's are the best street tire for the money, and they WILL hook nicely if properly heated.

With that being said, Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials (DR's) are the best drag radial that I have used. One of my friends recently put M&H DR's, very similar tread pattern to the 555R's, on his 600+rwhp Supra and he says that they hook better than the Mickey Thompsons do.

Another thing, Nitto 555R's are available in 245/50/16, stock size, where as the Mickey Thompsons are not, they are available in 255/50/16.

Please post on the correct forum. "Drag Radials" do not belong in "engine" tech.

Moving.......

The "redirect" is still on page 1 of "LT1 Based Engine Tech". It will be there for a few more days. Go take a look at it. Why are you arguing about it?

But thanks anyway for posting on the correct forum next time. If this continues to be a problem - and it has been for a long time - I'll just delete your posts rather than moving them. Your choice.

I'd rather spend my time helping people with problems than moving your posts.

I wasn't arguing with anyone.... I wouldn't waste my time. If you choose to delete my posts then that is your choice, I doubt I will lose any sleep over it, I simply came on here to ask for an opinion and posted in the wrong forum. What are moderators for? Seeing as your a "super moderator" It shouldn't be that much of a problem.

Shouldn't be that much of a problem for you to just post on the correct forum. Apparently you have enough time to waste to post yet again, calling out a Moderator. Normally, that's an infraction, and you get warned and/or points. Enough of those, and your membership gets suspended for two weeks. Keep it up, and the ban is permanent. Appears you don't really care, and wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

I've gone out of my way to help you with your numerous problems. But you don't seem to care or appreciate it in any way. So has Shoebox... but I can sense he's getting frustrated with your limited effort to comprehend. **** off the people who want to help you, and you're not going to get much help.

So far you have a poor track record here.
