drag race with V700's any1?

Ive got 335/35's on my ZR1'sd and was wondering if anyone has uses these road race tires to drag before. Ive only used the 712 supras before and my best 60' ever was a 2.059, most of the are usually 2.3's and it kills my 1/4 time. if i heat these tires good should they hook like a DR? they have a decent sidewall to them, their not really low profile even tho their a 35 series, they are wide as hell making them a bit taller.

or would i be better off launching from a set of 285/30ZR20 michilins?

thanks

I think you'd have better luck with the 17's (I'm assuming the 335/35 are 17's? ) than with the 20's. Lighter wheels, wider tires, and probably a little more sidewall.

Ultimately, DR's are (obviously) going to be your best bet ... they have soft sidewalls, not just soft tread, so they'll give the "wrinkle effect", whereas road race tires have very stiff sidewalls. The compound may be better than an average street tire, but it's hard to say just how well they'll work .
