I know the may seem silly, but i feel a valid dicussion. A friend and i got into a decussion about is there really a difference in Auto shop tires (Big O Tires) example. and wal-mart tires. I know there is difference in plys, different brands of tires... ect. ect. If wal-mart sold a performance tire (BFG Comp T/A,) and all the plys, ratings, everything was the same as the Big O Tires down the street. Except wal-mart tires was cheaper. Would there be any difference in craftsmanship of the tire from the Manufacturer?

Not that i would ever let wal-mart touch my camaro but just wondering, sumbody please back me up??

 

You're comparing a Comp TA from Wally World to a Comp TA from Big O?

If so, they're the same. Walmart just buys in larger quantities so they get them cheaper.
