Cragar SS fit?
#2
Don't know the specifics of the Cragar's, but 15" wheels in general are a problem with 4th Gens. Many "drag" style 15" wheels have problems with clearances, requiring spacers in the front and grinding of the brake caliper fins in back. Not all.... Centerline Telstars may fit, the Bogart P1's are available in a special model for the 4th Gens (essentially, they come with the spacers welded on).
You need to find someone who is actually running the exact wheel you want to buy. You also need to see if they are available in the backspace you need for our cars. The rear 15x10's will need a 7.5" backspace. In the front, you are looking at 15x8 with 5.5 or 6.0" backspace.

Too bad..... the first set of custom wheels I ever bought was a set of 15x8 Cragar SS wheels for my 1966 GTO ...... I still think they make a great "retro" wheel.
