Cost for tubing?

I have a pair of M/T ET Streets. I have been told by several people that tubing is not a necessity on them. However, I am curious though, how much does this service generally run?

You buy a pair of "racing" inner tubes from Summit or JEG's, and have them installed at your local tire shop. The M/T tubes are over $50 each, but I got some Summit branded tubes for a bit less than that. You may need to enlarge the valve stem hole in the wheel to accept the large diameter metal valve stem that is used on the racing tubes.

Never ran tubes in my 26" ET Streets or 28" Hoosier QTP's. Got the tubes when I went to the 28" ET Drags.

I have the M/T tubes for on mine, I ended up drilling a new hole dead center on my wheel for the tube, I didnt like the fact that if I would have used the factory hole it would have been pulling hard on the stem since the stem is centered on the tube.I left a valve stem in the factory hole with out the core in there so when I fill the tube that all the air in there can be left out of there. mine would only keep air for about 3-4 days with out tubes, now i dont have to touch them.
