Is it bad to mix tires on my camaro?

Since I am a cheapo...I am thinking about putting my rear tires (goodyear brand) which have ok tread left on the front wheels...and buying 2yokohama avs es 100 and putting them on the back...would this be ok or is it a bad idea? Thanks for the input

so i would have two goodyear all season tires on the front and two yokohamas on the back

It's not preferable, but not a safety issue. The balance of your car will be off depending on the relative grip from front to rear. I would NEVER switch them from side to side, but as for your question, you should be ok if you have to.

As stated before. Not a great idea, but it will be fine.
