Any problems with offset etc.

Due to economic issues setting me back I've been longer getting my wheels than expected. I looking to buy American Racing Torque Thrust M's 17X9.5 for the front and 17X10.5 for the rear. Front's a no brainer but in the facts it shows using a 17X11 for running a 315/35/17. The wheel will have a +44mm offset with a 7.5" backspace. WIll the 10.5 cause a problem? In a related topic any suggestions before i order either Black or Anthracite? Car is white with black hockey stripes.

A 10.5" wide wheel is the smallest recommended for a 315/35/17, so your good!
The TTM 10.5", +44 offset wheel shouldn't give you any fitment problems, unless your running BFG's or GoodYears, then you might need to roll the fender lips slightly.

What width wheel a tire requires is set by the individual manufacturers, and can even vary with different tire lines from the same manufacturer. Some recommend a wheel as narrow as 10.0" for their 315/35-17's, others do not recommend anything less than 11.0".

You need to check the specific tire you plan to buy, to see what the manufacturer recommends. In the case of the NT555, 10.5" is acceptable.

Post #8 in the Wheel and Tire General FAQ indicates:

315/35-17: 25.7” diameter; 10.5” – 13.0” wide wheel

Thanks, I was worried a little as the TorqueThrust M's only come in 10.5 wide. I'm ordering the Nitto's this Friday from Discounttire direct.
