Any grinding necessary for Pro Stars to fit an LT1?

Any grinding necessary for Pro Stars to fit an LT1?

Just like it says. Do you need to grind the wheels or the brakes at all for a set of Pro Stars to clear the brakes on an LT1 car? I heard something about needing to grind with Weld wheels.

Yup. Grab an angle grinder and do some fairly serious damage to the fins on the caliper. Make sure you take off too much rather then to little.

Assume you are talking about the back wheels/brakes. Yes, grind the caliper fins off, mainly on the "corner". See pic below.... not real clear, but should give you an idea.

In the front, you typically need a 1/4" of 5/16" spacer so the wheel will clear the spring clip that holds the pads in the caliper and the big horizontal bar on the steering knuckle that supports the calipers/pads.
