My buddy wants to take his Firehawk up to the track and I was wondering if a set of 16" wheels off a 3rd gen T/A will fit. I have a set of drag radials on 85 T/A wheels and before I dig them out I just want to make sure they will fit. Thanks

 

They should fit fine I think they just stick out alot.

 

The 3rd Gen wheels have 1.5 - 2.0" less offset than the 4th Gen wheels, so they may put the tires outside the body, as mentioned above.

 

do u think it will any affect to launches with them sticking out more?
i can get 3rd gen wheels aswell and gonna put d/r's on them..

 

won't effect the launches, it'll just look like absolute crap.

 

Some events and some classes require that the tire be under the fender.

But it does provide a convenient place to sit while waiting in the staging lanes
