I found a nice set I'd like to buy. I've never heard of "290 Vortex" rims, but they look like a set of rims that came on a c5. The rims were on an 89' RS, and are about 4 years old.

They're 17's, 5 spoke, chrome.....i just want to find out if the whole "vortex" name is made up, or if its actually real or mistakenly named.
I have a pic of the rims I can send.

If anyone can help me out with info by tomorrow night, I'd really appreciate it, because i might not be able to buy these after tomorrow.

I'v heard of them and thought about getting them at one time. They're called 290 Vortec wheels. They remind me too much of Mustang Cobra wheels though. If you like them, get them, Im sure they'll look good.
