285's on 2000 Vette Wheels on 93 Fbody?
Well I've been looking at getting some drag radials. I found some Nitto NT 555R drag radials, but the problem is the smallest they come in is 285's. I currently have 275's and they fit without problem. I'm just wondering if anyone can confirm that the 285's will fit. I have 18 Inch 5 Spoke 2000 Corvette Wheels. They're GM if it matters. Thanks for any help!

What is the width of your C5 wheels? The real 2000 Corvette wheels were 18x9.5, with a 65mm offset. That puts the inside edge of the tire close to the inner fender liner. There were aftermarket replicas available in other widths and offsets.
Nitto recommends a rim width of 9.5 - 11.0" for the 283/35-18 tires.
