Unhappy 255-50-16 Widest Tread width tire

(Attn Luke)
87 Iroc Show car, strong horse on motor and going nitrois
also.
Just bought two BFG 245-50-16 KDWs for front, (Keeping
my IROC 16 rims as like new) from Discount tire.
Was running 245 GY Eagle fronts and 255 rears.
The GY Eagle 255s are 9.4" wide treadwidth on my 16"-8"
wide rims.

Also ordered the BFG 255-50-16 Drag radials for the rear but they haven't mounted them yet. Changed my mind on the DRs as don't want to replace them every 5k miles as
going to alot of show car runs.
BFG does not make the KDW 255-50-16 but found 2 tires
that do but (Cannot) get the tire width (INFO) that I want.
Dunlop SP Sport 8000 & BFG G-Force Sport. Am trying to
get at least the 9.4" treadwidth of my Goodyear Eagle rears.

Can you help me.

Thanks

Did you check Tire Rack for the dimensions?

Tire Width

Thanks,

Found the width at Tire Rack for the Dunlops but showing
N/A on the BF G-Force Sport as to width.

The 255 Dunlops showing 9.4 treadwidth just like the GYs.
Just wish BFG made the KDWs in 255-50-16 as really like
the tread layout and reviews on them.
Just trying to fill the wheel wells and with the Coil Over
front and 2" lowered Eiback springs rears with 255 rears
does the job.
