2006 C6 Z06 Wheels on a 4th Gen Camaro Z28
2006 C6 Z06 Wheels on a 4th Gen Camaro Z28
Hi. I'm looking for some help with offsets, spacers, and or adapters.
I'd like to put a set of 18" C6 Z06 style wheels on my Z28. Wheel size is 18x10 front and rear. Tire sizes will probabaly be 245/40 up front and 295/30 in back.
In order to fit the wheels on my car with the larger tire sizes are, I need to know what offsets to go with. Or adapters and spacers.
Can anyone help me out? Here's a picture of the wheels I'd like.

And here's my ride.

Thanks.
Stan.

I got mine off eBay, called the company told them what I had and fit perfect. no spacers just had to torque 'em down.
went with 9.5 all the way around

Bad choices on tire sizes.
Why put a 10" wide wheel on the front, then put a skinny tire like a 245/40-18 on it? Makes no sense at all, and most manufacturers don't recommend anything wider than a 9.5" wheel for that size tire. Its going to look like its stretched way too wide, and will offer no protection at all to the lip of the wheel.... instant curb rash.
And, a 295/30-18 will be a 25" tire, which is smaller than the stock tire diameter. The sidewall will be very small, reducing straight line traction, increasing ride harshness, and offering little protection to the wheels on a pothole encounter. Look at a 295/35-18.
What is the offset of the 18x10" wheels? That will determine how they fit. There are guidelines in the Wheel and Tire FAQ regarding the recommended offsets for various wheel widths.
Depending on the year of your car (why not add a "signature" with basic info like the year?) you may have to grind the inner diameter of the rear hub holes to clear the oversize rear axle hubs on the 93-"late" 96 cars.
