2 quick questions

1.) What is a good website to buy tires?

2.) If I put a 255 on my rear right tire and leave the left rear side a 245 is that bad for the rear end? Would I notice difference by looking? I have low funds and the rear right tire is so worn out that its loosing air and the whole tire is smooth with no visual treads.

Tomzwheels.com is a good one and they are a sponsor on LS1tech and here I believe. Another good one is Tirerack.com, but if you have one in your area a good place to go with great prices is Discount Tire. Good luck.

The overall diameter of a 255/50-16 can be as much as 1/2" larger than the 245/50-16. That would cause your differential to struggle with the difference in rotational speeds of the two rear wheels, and possibly damage the limited slip unit. Its less than a 2% difference in wheel RPM.... but there is a risk of damage to the rear.
