you didn't search much as i have boze's in 19 in two different sets and i'm adding a third set to my new project.

i've had 285/35/19 and 295/30/19...

295/30/19 is the way to go in my own opinion and i agree with above. all 4 corners like that will be difficult considering you went with a correct offset too. i've bent two barrels on my 18's that i had before i went to 19's and i only drive the 19's in limited areas that i know are safe because of the thin profile.

unfortunately your really on your own as this is a judgement call. if you drive the car at all i'd go as thick as i could on that sidewall.

as far as returning them... it's not a bad idea for the fronts however if you told them the offset then your stuck with them.

good luck in whatever you decide, they make killer wheels!

I tought 8" is too narrow, so I had to choose 19x10" for all wheels. So 285 or 295/30/19 for rears. What about fronts? I want to go 275/35/19, but should I do any modification?

BTW I didn't say anything about offset, I hope they choosed that right.

you let them guess the offset? they are usually pretty good but anytime you order wheels you should pick your offset/backspacing specially with that kind of money you want them to fit like a glove.

8" in the front is definately not to narrow, only true auto-x cars or trailer queens really go 10" or larger in the front. it puts alot more strain on your steering wears out bushings much much faster and will pull your car around when you hit the slightest inconsistencies in the road. not to mention it's more contact patch on the road which although looks cool it's more rotational weight on the car and much more drag which slows you down.

if it's just a cruiser/show car none of this matters but if you like to drive it around town it's just that much more important.

reguardless they look nice, can't wait to see them on the car. great choice!

Wow that's a lot of money to dump w/o doing the research and telling them the offset. I hope everything works out for you!

Take a look at the sticky above and you might get some idea of where you need to be. But with 19" all bets might be off as far as what you need. Just hope if you do get them and they need alittle changing you can always use spacers to push them out, but if they need to come in you'll be SOL.

Good Luck, once you get everything worked out I'm sure they'll look killer.

I'm looking at a set of 18" Boze Stingers for a 4th Gen, i wish I could find pics; but noone right now seems to have any. (Albiet they look killer on Kandieds old ride!).

Thank you for good words.
Yes I did some researchs, but they told me "let us handle everything", so I didn't say anything. Because they did this for lots of cars including camaros. I hope there will not be a problem otherwise I even can't imagine. I hope there will be no need to come in!

BTW I'm between 265 and 275 for fronts couldnt decide yet.

hmmmm, a 10" wheel with 7" backspacing should give you around a 3" offset. (~75mm).

You'll probably need spacers, but that's better then a 1" offset (25mm) and you'd be stuck.

I might be alittle confused though so maybe someone else can chime in with some help.

Exactly. Now I can solve this by using spacers. Otherwise there would be no solution right?

Must be the "new math"..... a 10" wheel with a 7" backspace will have ~ 38mm offset. It will not need a spacer in the back or in the front. A stock WS6/SS wheel has almost a 7" backspace. My ZR1's have a 7.93" backspace in the back, and a 7.41" backspace in the front.

Since the actual wheel width is closer to 11.0" (bead width + 2 flanges), that would be a 7" backspace and a 4" "frontspace". That puts the outside edge of the wheel exactly where an 11" wide 50mm offset ZR1 wheel sits. In the back, that puts the outside edge of the tire exactly under the widest point of the fender, looking straight down from above. So far so good.

In the front, your tire may be outside the fender with a 4" frontspace. If you have stock 16x8" wheels, measure out 1.75" (44mm) from where the outside edge of the stock wheel/tire combo sits, and see if that's where you really want the front wheels to sit.

I couldn't get it, so my front tires will be out of the fender?

i sold my 18's... you can see the 18's here.

http://www.gmhightechperformance.com...o_z28_feature/

i have the same exact thing in offset/backspacing only in 19's now for the car. i wouldn't recommend 19's for anything other then a true weekend cruiser show car. that large they become heavy and tires are double the price of 18's. i paid $1,200 more in tires and rims just to jump up from 18's to 19's. i love the look though... it's a sickness.

i wouldn't worry too much, it's just the point that when building a car you shouldn't leave any detail uncovered. normally you should measure and research your own fitment but not everyone can do that so you'll be fine i'm sure.

also for the tires you really have to understand what your doing. the proper width for a 10" is 285 or 295. your going to stretch your tire with such a small width on that rim. you can skate by but hope your roads are smooth out there.

i'm running 5.75, 4thgen rear pushes out 1" more... or is it 2" more on each side. can't remember. so that should give you a decent idea of where you would want it.the higher the number the further in the wheels will go and the smaller the lip of your rim will be.

also typically front backspacing is different then rear so if this is the case and you have 7" all around it might look funny.

put them on the car and see... you really don't want to have to use spacers but things happen. they shouldn't be that far off if you let them build them. let me know if they are that far off.
