17x11 ZR1 on 2002 SS?

i need a new rim and wanted to know if i could put 17x11's on the back and keep the 17x9.5's on the front?

any clearance problems? and will the extra meat be too much for the 10 bolt?

The extra meat won't do much for you except for appearance becausre the shorter sidewall negates the extra width. Yes some need to roll fender lips or pound in the inside of the fenderwells to not scrape.

Read the FAQ at the top of the page for the 17 x 11s. The wheel is heaver and will grip better then 275s so it will put some extra stress on the 10 bolt, but its not going to break unless you do alot of hard launches.

The sidewall height on a 275/40-17 and a 315/35-17 differs by 1/100th of an inch.
