Re: Any one running 20's

they will fit as long as you buy the correct offset and backspacing. do the research before you buy anything. i have a set of 20x8.5"s that have a really low offset and they do not fit on my 97 ss, cant even drive if i put them on, with sportlines, the wheels will rub at 12'o clock, 3 and 9 if i turn. they stick out too far, and i have 255,35,zr20's. they fit great on my 91 convertible

I'd rather have wider than larger diameter and narrower.

Re: Any one running 20's

Large wheels look Awesome on 4th gens due to their styling, design and large wheel wells.
Hell, even 1st genners look very nice with 17" rims, the 4th gen really needs modern wheels and those are best in large sizes.
20" isn't too much as the wheel wells can take the 20" look very well.

Fitment can be an issue but if you work that out it's everything but gay

now why can't anybody do anything different to their cars without somebody slamming people who want them a certain way.....immature comments like that just puzzle me.....?
20's do look good if the correct style is used. and that usually means a high dollar wheel.
I myself like the 19 front and 20 rear setup. and have a spare set of 17's around for the track.

its alright to be different, but 20's on an f-body is just go buy a damn suv if you want some huge bling bling.

Re: Any one running 20's

I'd suggest that all 'haters' skip this topic.
It clearly states in the topic that it's about 20's so if you think it's ricey then please don't bother reading it and spend your time wisely elsewhere.

pu12en12g, you are so right ! That's exactly how i think about it, if i wanted a 4x4 look i'd buy a truck.

Re: Any one running 20's

it has nothing to do with looking "ricey", it just doesnt look like they belong on there. the biggest that i would go on an fbody would be 18, but i have seen 19s before that could pass for decent. 20 = ghetto

Re: Any one running 20's

why would you want 20's? they dont help performance. they dont look good and like someone said about the 4x4 look, thats what 20's do.
