15x8 w/4.5 inches of backspacing for the track?

Hey guys, I searched, but wanted to know if this wheel offset will work on our cars.

I am going to run a 26 inch slick, and the offset on the wheels is 4.5 inches.

Will I encounter any problems?

Your tires will be slightly outside the fender. You need a 5.5" backspace on an 8" wide wheel to keep the tires completely under the fender. They will stick out about 1" more than these:

It'll have a nice REO Speedwagon look to it.

My bad, I meant to say 5.25 inches of backspacing.

They are Cragars, not Welds, and that is the best/closest I can get to 5.5 that I know of.

Then its only going to stick out 1/4" more than the photo above, and if you don't use a really huge tire they probably won't stick out any more than the photo above. That photo is a 28x10.5-15W ET Drag, which is a pretty meaty tire. (The photo also is a 15x10" 7.5" backspace wheel, but the outside edge sits the same place as a 15x8" 5.5" BS wheel).

Anyone think I'll have problems with a 26 inch tall tire, being that my car is lowered with the Eibach Sportline springs........

The 5.25" BS will work well. I had a 5" b/s on my old Centerlines and they fit a 26" tire just fine.

Not since the cars come w/ just under a 26" tall tire from the factory. If you mean 28, then you might have to do some hammer work on the inner fender well and possibly roll the lip of the fender.

Good.

I already rolled my fender lip and did some hammer work because I used to have 315's out back.

So I shouldn't have any probs.
