Why can't people drive on 635 in the rain?
Why can't people drive on 635 in the rain?
i drove down there 4 times on saturday, and got held up by 3 different addidents. for a road that is concrete, relatively straight, and has rain grooves, there always seems to be accidents when its wet. i just don't get it.
Re: Why can't people drive on 635 in the rain?
Dunno, same thing with I 35. I'm sure its all the major roads that get it. It pisses me the fawk off cause i'm usually late to school due to some asshat.
Re: Why can't people drive on 635 in the rain?
It could be just me, but it seems that most of those clowns can't drive when it hasn't been raining.
My commute is to Denton and I swear it never fails that traffic on 35 is being held up by some (insert insulting stereotype here) in the left lane and far too many are too timid to go around. Thus, when it narrows down to two lanes, it's not uncommon for me to top a hill to see a 1/2 mile line of cars stuck behind aforementioned moron.
I never have these problems on the race track (190).

the same thing is all over Texas
I've only really lost control in the rain once (had Et Streets on the back) but I didn't slow traffic much at all. I got off the road ASAP and changed the tires at a gas station.
