These guys have towed my car before. Its a small towing company owned by one guy, Al, and his younger brother works on a second truck with him. All has towed my Contour before, so i wasnt nervous at all when my Firebird's oil pump gave out infront of my job so i had to call Al and have him come tow my car. Well his younger brother comes instead, doesnt even fully secure my car up on the tow...

But the main thing he did wrong, nosedived my baby into the concrete. SLAM. And i mean slamed. He climbed into my car after putting it at a ridiculous angle. Im sitting here a foot away from it and in my head i know my car might clear it if he goes slow with a little scraping but the bottom is a little scraped anyway so i wasnt worried.

This ******* releases the handbrake and acts as if my car didnt have brakes and let it go. My whole front end buckled underneath my car and jolted my car so hard, my doors rammed into my rear fenders and cracked the corners of my windows back several inches. At 4am in the morning, this pisses me the **** off. My friend from the garage sends him on his way before the guy can say anything.

So Al comes out another hour or two later and looks at my car. Its ****ed, cosmetically, and my headlights are knocked back too, in the inside my dash and faceplate for my CD player must have already been loose but all of it fell forward into the seats as well.

Al tries to tell us that his brother cant control things like this... I could lift and down and bring down cars with more care then his brother ****ing did. So after some bitching out by the garage guys to Al, Al is going to pay out of his pocket to get my entire car redone... All the front fenders, bumper, side panels, doors, lights, couple interior and some engine bolts knocked loose, all has to be repaired, then it has to be repainted entirely. Ive also got a rental car for the next week or so while its at the body shop.

The body shop was funny as well - they tried to get us to get the car working first before bringing it over. The oil pump is going to give out, it wont hold pressure at odd times. The car wasnt working when his brother wrecked it, so **** no, were going to make them push it around. And if they choose to run it and lock up my engine if the oil pressure finally gives out, ****, they'll fix that **** too as far as im concerned.

Just a funny story id like to tell everyone that happened last night.

Midnight Towing Company's owner Al, i would trust with any car, but NOT his younger brother - who by the way, was fired after this. This is his 5th car whose front end hes slammed into the ground like that.

Yeah, ill send you some via email as soon as i get them developed. Gotta get to the garage and get the camera that they took the pics with and get them developed.

Dont know actually, Al took it to his own im guessing, i didnt ask.

But the car came back ****ed up. They didnt replace ANY of the buckled fenders, they didnt match the paint - you can TELL the blue is lighter and the fact that its over sprayed and looks like ****..my front end looks like crap up close. They didnt replace the bolts they locked loose in the engine, the hood still isnt straight, there are a suspicious ****ing CORNICOPIA of scratches ALL over the hood of my car that werent there before.

Pissing me off.

 

that sucks man, what kind of tow truck was he using? A tow behind or flat bed. I personaly don't allow my car to be touched by anything except a flat bed. And with the way our mayor has step the city if you car breaks down with in city limits it gets towed within 7 minutes. I hope my car never does break down like thatbut if it ever does I would love to see the dumb inbread hick with his ghetto lether straps hanging off the back wreaker try and tow my car with that hunk of junk.
