Texas Raceway Sun 10-29

I believe they run 5 PM to 9 PM.

$10 to race or watch and ladies get in free.

They are having a Muscle Car Challenge before that starting at 9 AM.

I'll be there about 2-3 PM to check out some of the Muscle Car Challenge action and run my car later on.

Anyone else going?

ran 7.30 at 93 just like at Motorplex BUT it was single tracking about 1/2 the burn out.

The rear end never launched with a posi again and it would just FRY the right rear. This obvioiusly KILLED 60 ft (from a 1.62 to a 2.09) and make tuning useless. Even launching 1/2 throttle would result in lots of spin. 4 more runs and same result.

Weighing my options on rear ends right now. I need AT LEAST a new posi but how much time and $$$ to I wanna sink in this stock rear.

I would go with a nother stock entire rear end if I can find one with 3.73/4.11's at a good price just to get the car going. I know it might last a few months or a few launches but it will NOT last in my car with NOS since I am running mid 11's at 117 MPH N/A at 3820 lbs.

looking at how cheep an 8.8 can be installed and how to do the TQ arm as opposed to a 12 bolt or 9".

Either way, I am gonna get something other than 3.42's.

There is a group doing 8.8 installs in DFW somewhere. Wish I could remember who it was. I'll try to find out for you guys.
