Have you considered the DFW area at all? That's where I was the past 2 weekends. I currently live in a nice rural city, but I really miss what the big city has to offer.

Oh yeah, Dallas has some "skyways" that are 5 or 6 levels high!

I'm living in south Austin right now but should be closing on a house next month in north Austin. Where were you liking down south?

We only drove around for an hour or so, but it seems like it was less smashed together. When we come down again, we will explore more.

westlake hills? i had the good fortune of living in some of those hills for a few years... basically across the lake from mozart. the drive down the hill on redbud every morning with the view of the entire downtown is awesome.

Just remember, it's pronounced Man-chack. You don't want to make an Austin feux pas.

Man-chack and not Man-chock-uh....got it.

Glad to know...I was muttering Man-Chaka-Kahn as we drove around.

man-chock-uh is the correct way to say it (at least that's the way some of my friends with that apellido pronounce it), but people in the ATX like the man-chack way of saying the word. i say the prior just to **** with peeps.
