Need help on cam install

Long story short...
I had purchased a 224/230 cam kit a year ago. I finally got the time to tear things all down (with very little help from a "friend".) My "friend" has now left me high and dry.
What I have left to do is replace the springs, retainers, and cam. I have all the gaskets.
Is anyone interested in doing this? I really miss running thru the gears and really want to get it running. Let me know. We can discuss cash for the help.
Thanks.

You can do it very easily yourself - you just need a couple tools. I recommend the Moroso spring compressor - very nice piece.

Why do you not want to do it yourself?

This has been a major hassle for me with work, being a father, etc. I just don't have the time anymore. Plus, I would like to have someone help with this that has done this before.
I talked to RPM today and probably will have them do it.

Try PM'ing Joseph Felts screen name Smoke T/A, he just did a cam and head swap for me. He did an excellent job. After seeing him work I have no doubts in his abilities.

Ohh and he isnt as expensive as most shops

I appreciate that. I called RPM already this morning and set it up. They are including all the fluids (including recharging the air conditioning). Wish me luck.

Jose, you made it back to the track yet since the swapover. Just curious how that setup is working. I heard that your car sounded mean as hell with the new cam.

I appreciate that. I was hoping for the car to be running as early as Wednesday, but it looks like they are busy with a few Vettes and it won't get in until next Monday......

Not sure if you saw my results in the LT1 Tech forum, but who works at a Chevy dealership in Dallas?
