Does anyone know if it is legal to have your n20 bottle mounted in the passenger compartment if you get pulled over? I am mounting mine on my tranny tunnel. I would mount it in the spare tire compartment but the car is a daily driver and having a spare is nice in a daily driver. I am getting a blow down tube just incase it builds up to much pressure, but I am sure cops wont car about that.

 

mount it back where the t tops go...if not you shouldent be bothered, get a bottle blanket and it wont be noticed

 

when i had mine there i was pulled over by a highway patrol and all he asked if it was open. other than that he didnt say anything else about it.

 

Yeah I would mount it back there but I want a spot to stick my t-tops. Can u put a bottle warmer inside a bottle blanket?

 

To be legal...for the cops....you can not have nitrous in the feed line.

You will have no problem with the bottle in the car but if the cop asks you to take the line off the nipple, it better not hiss.

I just take the feed line off the bottle when not in use.

 

Well that is good to know. Maybe I will get a hex to wing deal for the line, and if I ever see them blue and red lights I will disconnect it real quick. Ray, I ordered my mount last night, when do u think it will ship out?
