I also was deferred in 2 places. I had a ticket in Austin and then got another by Travis County. I ended up getting deferred by both. I think it is because while you are on deferred, the vilation is not listed on your rrecord so if someone else checks, it is still clear. Good luck,

Kyle

Some agencies do not notify the state right away about citations, so its not in the system... Normally you can defer once a year, but somoetime you can beat the system....

I deferred two tickets that I got within two months of each other both in Grand Prarie. Part of the deferment agreement was I could not get another ticket in 90 days, but they did not seem to care. All they want is the money in most cases. You can get away with it.

I got deferred in Farmers Branch(Dallas Co.) and a week later got a large ticket in Garland(also Dallas), neither of the two went noticed by the other PD! I think it just has to do with the circumstances and how many tickets you've had in the past, the worst that could happen is they would deny you deferred. I highly doubt they will call the PD of your other ticket to tell them about the new one. Just try it and see what happens.

Good luck,
Kyle

No, deferred is only for the jurisdiction of the court that deferred it. If someone was to tell them they could reinstate the ticket. Otherwise, they do not keep checking your records to make sure it hasn't happened. If you try and defer this one, they will check your records and see another is deferred already so worse case they call the other court. Best case they tell you no. Just pay this one or take a DD course.

you should be ok

You should have no trouble, the system is slow to update with your info that says you are on it now, so no one will see the first one even if they check it today...Also Deferred usually (most places) doesn't go on your record at all until you complete it without another violation. I have done it several times in different counties with no problem at all...

Cool the only potenital problem is when you sign the paper work

It requires you to swear that you have not commited a violation during the deferal period. hmm...

As long as ou were in a different jurisdiction you are fine. You are on 90 days probation in that jur. They will never know nor will they care. It is all about money. Keep racing!
