Take it somewhere else. It is a muffler to a degree.

Loudmouth is from SLP...Street Legal Performance......I am sure any of their products for the most part should still allow you to pass an inspection.....and a bulet muffler is still a muffler and it is located in the stock muffler location...take it elsewhere

Take it to another place. The resonator is a muffler, if you have any problems at another inspection place, call SLP and they will help you talk your way through it.

Phat T/A: the resonator is not in the stock muffler location. That is probably what set the guy off, you look behind the axle, and there are straight pipes....

Thats bull**** the loudmouth is street-legal and unless your running headers along with the exhaust you should have passed. This is what you do go back to the shop tell them thier full of **** and if they give you trouble reach for the cell call SLP and happily leave with your new inspection sticker.

Here is the LAW.....

§ 547.604. Muffler Required

(b) A person may not use a muffler cutout, bypass, or similar device on a motor vehicle.

Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, § 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1995.

Resonator on a loudmouth is most definately a legal muffler, although it is ONLY a straight through pipe!
