DPS (State Police) question

heres my question ...
do the State Police get to keep their cars at the end of their shift or do they get assigned to them each day ?

They are allowed to take them home as long as they do not share a car. even then some of them take them home if the person thier sharing a car is not on duty and doesn't use it.

That's what my neighbor said...HPD...he said the same goes for them as well. He is a motorcycle cop and gets to take his bike home. He wakes me up every dang morning at 5:30 with that loud hog!!
