can anyone in San antonio help w a couple probs?

ok im about to leave on a trip, and im takin my car, and i have a copuple problems, the first problem is when i turn the wheel slowly to the left and go at a slow speed the left tire makes a popping sound, like something is popping out then pops back in...my 2nd problem is i changed my radiator a couple months ago, and the low coolant light sometimes is off, sometimes its on and turns off sometimes, and sometimes it blinks every 2-3 seconds really wierd i havent seen that b4, and the coolant level is fine in the reservoir and in the radiator, any one know what the problems could be?? or can anyone in SA maybe take a look for me and maybe even fix it?

thanks
patrick

As far as the coolant light, I had the same problem shortly after I bought my car...they just replaced the sensor and it's been fine ever since. Don't know what to tell ya on the popping noise though...CV joint maybe

98s did have a problem with the low coolant sensor. I'd replace it if yours is a 98.

As for the popping...dunno...sounds silly, but the lugs are all on tight, right?

peace...

I had that same popping for some time. Did the front brakes with new rotors/pad - noise gone. *shrug*

I would def have it checked before your trip.

As far as the coolant sensor goes:

Either do this: http://shbox.com/1/low_coolant2.jpg

or

Unplug it like stated above and just keep closer attention to your temp gauge (just in case you do have low coolant).

I can't really help you with the noise though. Good luck with it. Definately get it checked.

Check your bearings, and grease up your front end if you can.
Possibly the CV joint.
