dont know the code, but if it came out of a 6spd car it is 3.42
if you can select first, you have a 3.23, other wise 2.73

of course, that only helps if you can look at the car it comes out of.

GU2 Axle, Rear 2.73 Ratio
GU4 Axle, Rear 3.08 Ratio
GU5 Axle, Rear 3.23 Ratio
GU6 Axle, Rear 3.42 Ratio

Those are the RPO codes for the gear size, it's on a sticker on the driver side door.

So if I am understanding this correctly, taking a 3.42 Z28 rearend and the LT1 driveshaft, I will gain performance? If I run a 16.9 now, what could I expect after both? What other things from the Z28 stock could be switched over to the 3.4l F-body for any gains? What other suspensions pieces could be bought to improve the V6's performance not only in the 1/4 mile but for turning as well? Many questions right now, as I am seriouly considering selling my V6, but I cannot afford a Z28, but I love f-bodys, so I am thinking really hard about it. Thanks for any of my questions that get answered.

Thanks,

-Eric
