starter?

lately my car has been real sluggish starting...starting today when i tried to start it, the first couple times i turned the key it did nothing, then by the third try or so it turned over but after a few seconds of cranking. it has a new fuel pump, fuel filter, alternator....does this sound like the starter, plugs/wires, or battery issue? if it's the starter, how much does something like that cost to fix? it's a '96 3.8L btw...thanks for any help.

Is your key getting worn out? I had the same problem for a while, i turn the key and the engine wouldn't even turn over, I changed the battery but still the same problem. I noticed that the security light was coming on so i checked out the key and the chip seemed to be loose. I went and got my brand new spare key, and i haven't had the problem since. I don't know if this could be the same problem.
