Will this transmission fit in my 91' ?

I have my 91' RS 5-speed.
I also have my 85' V6 5-speed (3.42 gears).
I was dubing around on 3rdgen.org and saw the transmission ratios for the 85' and the 91' T-5's and saw that the 85' gearing 1-3 was lower (biggest difference was gears 2 & 3) and 4 & 5 were the same. My 85' seemed like it all ways had a better take off.
Another thing it said that 91' standard trans cars have 3.42's and that car has RPO code GU5 (3.23's).
So does any one know for sure that the 91' will take a 85' trans?
I know that the bolt paterns on the blocks are the same and that the fly wheels are the same(I have a internaly balanced 2.8 in my 85' with a 91' fly wheel on the crank).
The thing that makes my think is, are the hydralics and the clutch componets same on both years?
My 85' is kind of dead at the moment and has a new clutch kit with about 200miles on it in side it.
