Smile Well.....Getting the 3.4 ready for another run

Well my friend will be buying a 2003 eclipse GTS sportronic (auto)transmission V6 3.0L 210 Hp 205 lbs of torque. These things are heavy for an import . Does anybody think I have a chance againt him? We are probly gonna bet money on this race . I have the mods in sig. And I should have my 3.42 gears and LSD by then . So would I have a chance or not. Oh, and we will be running this race on the street and not the track.

lets see...

210hp, with nearly equal torque?

vs you ho with your mods lets be very forgiving, 190HP and 220 ft. lbs of torque.

his car is heavy but lighter then yours.

My money is on the eclipse, I don't know much anbout the transmission but I am willing to assume its "sporty" with agressive gearing.

but as always race him and find out.

Yeah , he probly would beat me but not by much . I should have my 3.42 gears and LSD by the time I race him . Ill probly take him off the line , and from there its up in the air on the streets.

Cool

Ryan your ready for the next step, you got the bug.Bring your buddies, friends, rivalries and car to the track.
Dont you have a strip there?Geeze man your missing out on alot(real racing),playing around on the streets.Besides its not safe. But I too have had races on streets.(not no more) Not presuming I'm squeky clean, just another brother on the board looking out for his own. Doing time in prison for vehicular manslaughter,is not something I want to experience,AND S HIT DOES HAPPEN. Think about it.

Take the next step.

What he said is true taking it to the strip is better problem is South Florida sucks, tis a good hour maybe hour and a half drive to the nearest track, I lived there and dealt with it.

Jsut try to keep the street racing down, I have had the privelage to deal with tons and tons of legal battles all across the state of florida with driving, and my insurance blows. Along with paying the tickets.

In my life adding up my tickets I figured out he other day I have spent mroe then $1500 to the state of floirda not including drving school costs.
