will ford 5spd same as my t-5 5spd

just seeing if the first gear might be the same im pretty sure they are but want to make sure before i order. i work at a ford dealership and took my T-5 apart with a mustang manual everything was the same.

ahh which T5? as i recall, there is the big T5 ( V8 T5, most commonly the world class - all V8's since ~87 or so), and the baby T5 for the other motors. different input shafts and ratios. (also T5 for broncos (different synchro material) and the offbeat T5's like Z spec T5), amongst others.

im sure you are referring to the first two, but just wanted to toss out that there are two different types for fox and SN95 stangs. since you work at a dealership, im sure you knew that, but wanted to double check. :-)

if in doubt, i bet D and D would know (stangers use them a lot).

T-5's from a mustang will not work in a f-body, believe they have different input shafts and either longer or shorter in length. Bolts may be different as well.
