what is a tac code?
my girlfriends has a 99 y87 camaro and her ses light is on, i had a mechanic check it out and it was throwing codes for the maf and the tac, well we replaced the maf but yet the tac code is still there, he didnt know what the tac is, so i had him ask 2 gm mechanics and they dont know either, so can anyone tell me what a tac is and how would i fix it

A search on google braught up Thermostatic Air Cleaner. Its some sort of emissions thing that uses heat from the exhaust to warm up the engine durring cold starts.
