what should i do?
Re: what should i do?
Nobody can tell you what to do...its all up to you.
It all depends on what your goals are for your car and how much time, money and effort you are willing to put into it.
IMO, a V8 swap isn't worth it unless you already have the donor car. It would be easier to just pick up a used Z28/SS.

yeah...see thats what i was thinking like ive heard of a v6 that ran high 11's and that would be awesome...cause youd be at the track and everybody would be like oh thats just a v6...when really it would smoke half the v8's out there and get better times than them as well....haha that would be great...plus we got some pretty cocky people who buy v8's and dont do anything to them and think their the fastest thing in town down here so id love to race em and beat the crap outta them haha...cause just about everyone in town knows im a 6 so that would be awesome

Re: what should i do?
i had this same question not too long ago, it is better to just sell yours and buy an LS1.
if you want your V6 to plow LS1s, youre gonna need to spend THOUSANDS of dollars on a turbo kit and all the parts pertaining to it to get it running
if you swap, you will spend THOUSANDS swapping and installing
i feel it is best just purchase an LS1 and to pay the thousands gradually over the months. plus you can soup it up month to month and be way better off powerwise sooner than you would if you kept the 6
just my $.02
