what is my car good for now? HP wise?

The intake gave it some responce and the exhaust really woke the hole thing up, to me it feels like there is now much more pep when I gas it.
What do these cars dino at stock? the wisper lid said 5 or so HP and the borla said 10 or so? would it be able to be seen at the drive wheels?

The car really feels improved, I am 19 and budgeting myself but at the same time I want a car that says something about V6's are Jet chips an option? a friend of mine wants me to get one. but at the same time I dont want to mess it up.

If I got into a race with a 2002 with the 3:42 gears would I have any ground? I have driven one and it felt a little torque off the line but that was 2 years ago.

would my mods have any results on a 1/4 mi? I have never raced it so I dont have anything to go by. Is it POSSIBLE to get a 3:08 car into the 14's?

any more sugestions?

hmm the open 3.08 gear ya have right now is a big disadvantge
I would try to get my hands on a 3.42 and posi (it'd feel like ya picked up 30 hp) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2400832301
the only bad part to the gear swap is you'd need your speedo & shift points recalabrated

I would get a good set of spark pulgs & wire if ya don't already (like taylor wire & delco rapid fires or ngks) that won't really give ya any more power, but it will give ya better fuel economy

if ya have a stock cat i'd get a good high flow one, and if ya wan't some more power for a good price i'd git a pair a pacesetters headders when they come out

I'd also get a 160* thermo if ya don't have that

they can recalbrate your speedo & shiftpoints, make your fan come on sooner for a 160* thermo, remove your speed limiter and advance yor timeing like a jet chip

the jet chip we could tell the car shift firmer and i say if u arent gonna get serious, then its a decent mod.

but if u plan on getting more serious, i say skip it
